TROOP/PACK 364 took over First Landing State park! Everyone had a blast!
We had 21 camp sites. 31 Cub Scout families and 16 Boy Scouts and their Troop 364 Leadership camped in perfect weather.
THANK YOU to Troop 364 for making this year's fall Family Camp a huge success! The young men of Pack 364 did an outstanding job teaching the Cub Scouts: First Aid w/Stretcher Bearer, Axe Yard, Flag Etiquette, Fire Building, Backpack Packing, Knots, and outdoor cooking in a Dutch Oven. Their camp fire and skits were over the top!
Gavin Lenthall did all of the coordination with the Committee, First Landing State Park, and with the Troop. Thanks for taking the time to connect all of these dots.
It was very entertaining to watch the Dens perform a skit/song. The Tiger's knocked their first song out of the park! We're going to have our hands full with these boys! Kristy's "Boom Chicka Boom" landed her a new job -- Pack 364 Song Master! Expect to see more of her at Pack Meetings!
The Flag Retirement was top notch as always and was a perfect way to end the night.
All of this was topped by a Gavin Lenthall piping Amazing Grace and Rev. Niece who enlisted the McCollum boys to empty a tube of tooth paste as apart of his service. It was an outstanding service!
