2.  Our Dens are no larger than 8 boys.  At this point we will review our current membership and inform you if we have room to take a new Scout.  We may need to start a new Den to accept your son into the pack, which means we will need another adult leader to agree to run the Den.  If you are willing to be a Den leader, we would then process and application for both you and your son.  

3.  Review, print and fill out an application (or make arrangements to meet us for a paper copy).

4.  Turn in your application to Katie Warner (medusa103@gmail.com).

How much does Scouting cost?

Startup Cost due with application
$2    per month BSA fees
$1    per month in Boys life fees
$10  pack dues per month

A scout joining in June would pay for June - Dec which is 7 months of pro-rated fees.

$21 = 7 months x ($2 BSA fees + $1 Boys life fees)
$10 = pack dues
$31 due with application

Other initial cost
$10 Scout Handbook (parents purchase the first book)

$10  Class B shirt (informal pack shirt, purchased from pack) 
$30  Class A shirt (collared shirt) (scout store) 
$15  Council patch, 364 patch, World Crest patch, Den Number patch (scout store)

$10  Belt (scout store)

Ongoing cost include dues and BSA/Boys Life fees for the next year
$10   Month (or $110 if paid in lump sum)

Extra costs not covered by dues include camping, sporting events sponsored by the council, day camps etc. 

In order to keep dues low, we also hold one fundraiser a year
Candybar Fundraiser  (sell 120 candy bars) or buy out for $60 (October)
